Dr. Erin Jacobs

Erin Jacobs serves as Director of Student Success Analytics at San Diego State University. Her prior professional roles include Associate Director for Student Success Analytics in the department of Institutional Research & Analytics at California State University, Long Beach, and Senior Dashboard Data Scientist in the department of Student Success Strategic Initiatives at the CSU Office of the Chancellor. In the latter role, she was heavily involved in Graduation Initiative 2025 efforts at the CSU and served as the technical leader of the CSU Student Success Dashboard Team. She oversaw the data gathering and cleaning process and led data analysis and modeling projects to support student success across the CSU. Dr. Jacobs received her Ph.D. in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Southern California.
