Dr. Reggie Blaylock

Reggie Blaylock’s current position at Cal Poly Pomona is Presidential Associate for Community, Campus Partnerships and Student Experience.

Blaylock has broad and deep leadership experience in both student affairs and the CSU, having served as a vice president for student affairs at San Jose State and as an associate vice president for student affairs at San Diego State University.

His commitment to narrowing and ultimately eliminating equity gaps is deeply personal. Blaylock is a proud EOP graduate and ultimately became founding director of Guardian Scholars and the Director of EOP at San Diego State University.

As a former student athlete, Blaylock knows well the importance of student engagement and has leveraged his first-hand knowledge to shape the positive experiences he creates for students. He will continue to serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet and the University Leadership Council.
