Dr. Terri Gomez serves as the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Cal Poly Pomona. Dr. Gomez provides strategic leadership for multiple units focused on meeting the needs of Cal Poly Pomona’s diverse student body, which includes: Academic Advising, the Bronco Advising Center, Undeclared Advising, Early Start, Learning Resource Center, First-Year Experience, Common Read, PolyTransfer, STEM Success, Honors College, Center for Community Service Learning, Office of Undergraduate Research, and the TRiO-funded Reading and Mentoring Program (RAMP). She is also a professor of Ethnic and Women’s Studies. Dr. Gomez is the founding director of the PolyTransfer Program, one of the first transfer first-year experience programs in the CSU. She is a first generation college student and a community college transfer student born and raised in the Inland Empire.
