We suggest that college campuses and higher education organizations assemble cross-divisional teams of passionate, caring, and action-driven faculty, staff, and administrators and invite them to work, learn, and inspire each other to close equity gaps for their historically underserved students. No previous data-literacy skills are required.
Don’t have a team? No problem! You may also join the program as an individual and we will place you on a team made up of higher education professionals from different universities across the nation.
Individual registration for non-CSU participants is $1,250 ($1,000 Early-Bird fee with registration by June 28, 2024). For non-CSU teams of 10-15 members, we offer a special team rate of $12,000 per team ($10,000 per team of 10-15 members with registration by June 28, 2024).

A limited number of partial and full scholarships are available for individuals who are not sponsored by their institutions. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please contact us at AnalyticsCertificateProgram@calstate.edu to request a scholarship application. Completed scholarship applications need to be received by Friday, June 21, 2024 to be considered.
In addition to actively participating in our online programming, participants should also count on spending another 20-30 minutes per session preparing for the webinars with pre-reading and dashboard assignments, so all in all the course requires about 25+ hours.
Each campus team is guided through the development of a data action project in which they collaboratively develop college-, department-, or program-specific approaches aligned with their equity goals and strategic initiatives. We encourage projects that have the potential of reaching a significant number of students, with a particular focus on closing equity gaps for historically underserved students. Learn More
All participants will be asked to tap into the data resources available on their campus, but no specific technology or data-sharing is required for participation in the program.
The Course Equity Portal Track is a participation option for CSU instructional faculty, including all tenured/tenure-track faculty and lecturers. In addition to participating in our traditional program curriculum, faculty choosing the CEP Track will gain personalized access to a unique data tool which will allow them to see their own data: the Course Equity Portal. We encourage teams of faculty from the same department or academic college, but we can also accommodate individual registrations by placing CEP Track participants on a systemwide, multi-campus team.
We are always glad to answer your questions about our program. You can reach us at AnalyticsCertificateProgram@calstate.edu. We also invite you to sign up for one of our Info Sessions on Zoom.
